Good Riddance.
Its 2008 and its going better than last year already... altho, its only the third day (at time of first draft). But ive not got a seat belt fine and a roadworthy yet so im pretty happy.
NYE was pretty good imo, altho like jason said, more tame than years gone. This was the first one ive been doing something fun. Last year was spent in a spa with amy and erin and while that was fine, i think we made bed before 12 and that bloody caravan was horrible, plus the rain and lightning sucked.
In other years ive been at phillip island in bed before 12, working at the bay till 3 while everyone else was at matts, home from phillip island and home from our night out in abandoned frankston before 12, in the city barely seeing the fireworks, or standing outside my house watching them launch from peoples houses.
So in comparison this years was the best so far.
Chris asked me a gay question that i might answer now...
What are my plans for 2008...
To get a new job, i dont care if its electrical, altho thats where id like to end up, but anything other than Camp Quality will suffice. Im sick of marcus and the scum i have to work with and its doing more harm than good.
To own a subaru... Id like to actually own my car, not just have it for a test drive, i want it back for a while, more than likely moving it on eventually. I want to go just one day without cursing other subaru / wrx drivers cause their cars arent fucked, every time i see the same one as mine, it depresses me.
To build my own car, ive spent countless hours looking atporn Minitrucks. Those hilux or rodeo utes that they bag and do all sorts of crap to, the only thing holding me back is money and lack of ability. The latter can be overcome but the first is whats stopping me when i turf the rex. I have a list of prices saved for things like new body panels and tubs and airbag kits, and while i could build something reasonable, its not going to be great.
To spend another year with nat. This past year has had its fair few ups and downs, lets hope for more ups and less downs and no silly drunken rampages.
If all or some of these things were to happen thatd be great. I want to sort my life out and make something better of me than a tent builder. I just need a good job and a car that i can be happy to get in and out of and be seen in.

Also, Birthdays are coming up in Feb, the busy month. Ben and chris are on the 5th, as a result i think a party should be planned for ben since he isnt here lol, we can have a pissup in his honour. That is ofcourse is chris doesnt organise his own, in which case we could have a joint pissup for them... I just figured a pissup in bens honor would be an easy excuse to get drunk.
Im yet to decide on my own fate regarding a partay, it depends how i feel, i sure wont be having no fucking party bus, not unless we can get people who'll actually fucking come this time, cause it was a fucking awesome night.
I suggest the 2nd of feb for any activities. Nat and i are going away between the 6th and 15th. Im taking a week off for a holiday, i think i deserve a week off after 2 and a half years of work.
